AnvilRMS is my passion project that started out as a simple way to manage my restaurants recipes in a more productive manner. This quickly lead to me writing a small Flask app to parse the Excel-hole we were in for the recipes and handouts. Then I said why not and started mapping our plating procedures to forms/UI and getting displays and printable documents online for them too.

Over the past year, it has evolved into a growing, in-production React application. The Anvil is currently servicing the management teams at my restaurant, 6 of our other locations, senior leadership, and our CEO. It has in-depth searching capabilities, menu creation to streamline in-store promotions, cook-line/banquet visual planning tools, Restaurant365 integration tools, food and restaurant evaluation forms, and even a web-based label printing kit to boot.
